What is ”Naha Walkin Tours”？

Did you know that Okinawa used to be an independent state called the Ryukyu Kingdom? In this tour, you will explore Shurijo Castle, which was the symbol of prosperity as a heart of politics, culture, economy, diplomacy, and religion, throughout the era of the Ryukyu Kingdom.

*The Main Hall of Shurijo Castle is now under reconstruction due to burning down in a 2019 fire.  You can see some reconstruction process; however, depending on the progress of work, the tour route is subject to change.

*Up to 6participants per guide.

Tour Day: Every Mon, Thu, Fri, Sat, and Sun.

“Tsuboya pottery” is one of the cultural developments flourished with the influence of the  foreign cultures.

This tour introduces you to the history of Tsuboya pottery, as well as the traditional backstreets.

The Kokusai Dori International Street, the famous shopping street for tourists, used to be a center of life and entertainment for local people, where movie theaters, shops and market stalls stood in line. 
The "Miraculous One Mile" is the another name of the street, symbolizing its rapid recovery after WW2.
